Our second battle was a close one! “I Cannot Draw a Horse” squeaked out a victory over “How to Talk Like a Bear.” Andrew Williams is holding the winning book, while Emmi Doak has the other book.

Oklahoma Lyric Theatre’s Cinderella Interactive – A Literary Tale visited Okeene today! This program offers an original take on a familiar story. Students visited with favorite characters: the gracious Cinderella, the charming Prince, and the evil Stepsisters. Through the music and dialogue of Rodgers and Hammerstein, the performance taught key literary curricula from story structure basics, to more complex concepts such as figurative language and theme. Thank you Oklahoma Lyric for a great show! 🎭
