Kindergarten had a busy day Friday! They read an Ag Book in the morning. Then for math they played musical chairs comparing groups with more, less, or equal amounts. They also searched the rooms to draw shapes and numbers.

Congratulations to Elaine Hutchison for being selected as one of four exceptional educators by the Tulsa Regional Alliance! Elaine has received a $5,000 grant from the prestigious Siegfried STEM Excellence Award, which honors the most dedicated and inspirational teachers. She is now a finalist and will be recognized at the Flight Night Gala in Tulsa on Thursday, September 12. If selected as the winner, she will receive an additional $5,000! Best of luck to Elaine as she continues to inspire and impact her students!

Before football practice on Labor Day, our Whippet Football team members helped the Catholic Thrift Store change out their seasons to fall/winter. This consisted of making an assembly line up the stairs and passing several bags of clothes weighing up to 50 lbs. They finished in record time, about 12 minutes. Great Job, Whippets!
