Exploring Careers in Healthcare
This week, our Okeene High School seniors had the opportunity to tour Okeene Municipal Hospital & Medical Clinic. They were able to see firsthand how each department plays a vital role in caring for our community—from lab and radiology, to pharmacy, nursing, marketing, billing & coding, and beyond. We’re excited to share that students who showed interest in any of the hospital departments will now have the opportunity to take the next step through job shadowing experiences. This is a great way for students to learn more about healthcare careers, ask questions, and explore possible futures right here at home. We’re thankful for OMH’s partnership in helping shape the future of our students—and possibly, the future of healthcare in our own community! 💙👩⚕️👨⚕️
