Using stacked textbooks and a Hot Wheels track, they put their learning to the test with hands on experimentation and problem solving. Mrs. Long's Culinary students have been making items from restaurants they created.
Last week, students made hand shaken ice cream for their root beer floats from Korey Turnham's restaurant "K-Bear’s Burger House" and enjoyed smoked chicken from Ethan Milligan's restaurant, "Mill's Steak House."
Today, Ace Long made a giant pretzel with cheese sauce from his restaurant "Ace of Plates" while Ben Cheap provided dessert; homemade vanilla ice cream and brownie sundae from “Ben’s BBQ."

Our football team wants to give a huge thank you to Mr. A and our amazing band for supporting them all season long. Their energy, spirit, and hard work always bring the hype. 👏

Congratulations to Caden Reames and Alaina Chasteen. They competed in the Red Carpet Honor Band on Saturday.
Alaina managed to get 1st chair 7th grade clarinet in her very first Honor Band competition.
Caden managed to get 1st chair High School clarinet in his final Red Carpet Audition of his career. Caden also got a qualifying score to move into the 2nd round of the VERY staunch OKMEA All-State Auditions. This audition takes place on Saturday December 6th. Caden will have to take on the best Clarinets that Oklahoma has to offer. This includes students from Broken Arrow, Owasso, Jenks, Norman, etc.
Awesome job to these two!

The Veteran’s Assembly will be held in the High School Auditorium on Tuesday, November 11th at 11:00am. The guest speaker will be First Lieutenant Julie Harris. The 7th-12th grade choir and 3/4th grade music classes will perform. The Patriot’s Pen essay contest winner will also present their winning essay.
