First grade had the BEST afternoon at Turner Farm today! 🐄🐐 They fed the Highland cattle, fed and pet goats, and even took a picture with Fiona the donkey.
Fun fact: Fiona was originally Mrs. Unruh’s parents’ donkey, which made the visit even more special! 🤍

Last week Kindergarten learned how to mill wheat into flour. Today, they used their local flour to make bread. They also made homemade butter. The kindergarten class wants to say thank you to all the wheat farmers, Okeene Mill for the flour, and Avery and Emory Fisher for helping them make the butter.

Please remit payment as soon as possible to your student’s building secretary. The secretary will forward all payments to the administration office.
Checks should be made payable to Okeene Public Schools. If paying with cash, please send the exact amount, as no change will be available. Any amount received in excess of the balance due will be applied as a credit to your student’s account.
Thanks to the OSU Extension Program, Mr. Woolley's 6th grade class hit high gear navigating an ATV training course. Mr. Woolley said, "This lesson "revved" up their learning...and I'm "wheely" proud of them!" Our 6th grade class would like to give a huge thank you to Abigail and Burton for helping them carry these skills down the road.
Pre-K Pre-Enrollment will take place tomorrow from 12:00–4:00 PM. Please bring the required documents and enter through the Pre-K building.
At 2:30 PM, our administration team will be available to answer questions and provide parents/guardians with more information about our Pre-K program.
