Kindergarten attended Read Across Oklahoma for Oklahoma author Betty Selakovich Casey at the Oklahoma City Zoo. 📚They ended their day with a sweet treat from Braums!🍦

FCCLA Easter Egg Hunt was a success this morning! 🥚🐰
The 5/6 AR trip was to Kingfisher yesterday! They went to the Mario Brothers movie, ate lunch at the park, and then enjoyed a treat at Braums.
PreK & Kindergarten enjoyed Easter goodies and activities today! 🐣🐰
Last week Doc was in all the high school Art classes every day. He was instructing and helping students create faces in clay. He brought a replica of his sculpture and explained what influenced him to start creating work. He also spoke on how he started creating and how his interest in art started. He shared a story about creating a plaster cast that needed to look like a dress boot for a cadet. The small sculpture was his next work which was inspired by a picture he saw in the newspaper.
Okeene Easter Egg hunt is Saturday, April 8 at 10:00 at the Okeene sports complex. We hope to see everyone there!

5th grade went to the Blaine County Wellness Day last week. They learned about gun safety, nutrition, dangers of vaping, cyber safety, played cornhole, and had a great lunch!
